A Piece of the Sky is a symbolic dedication connected to unique sky coordinates — created to celebrate memories, relationships, milestones, and meaningful moments. Unlike land or air rights tied to physical property, Pieces of the Sky exist in publicly unowned upper atmosphere space beyond traditional property air rights. Landowners may hold limited air rights above physical property depending on local laws, but upper atmosphere space itself is not privately owned. Pieces of the Sky are commemorative dedications only and do not convey legal ownership, property rights, mineral rights, airspace rights, or exclusive control of any physical area of the sky.Choose A Unique 1 meter cubed Piece of the Sky For Your Dedication
1. Choose an exact location using the interactive map to find and confirm somewhere that holds meaning for you — a memorable place, a special location, a favorite destination, anywhere on Earth. It might even be Iconic Coordinates (+$10), premium, high-demand locations like the Eiffel Tower or Grand Canyon. 2. Choose an altitude high above the clouds, between 20,000 and 160,000 meters. It might even be an Auspicious Altitude (+$10), lucky or patterned altitudes that are especially meaningful and in demand.
Personalize Your Dedication
3. Choose a package of perks. Sky Essentials ($25) is the basic package with the bare minimum. Sky Treasures ($50) is the package most people choose with the perfect collection of perks. And for folks who want us to print and mail their certificate as well as other premium perks, the Sky Heirlooms ($100) has it all! 4. Add meaning to your dedication with a dedicatee name, dedication message and other details. You can also mark it as a gift for that someone special. All of these details will be in the IAZB Sky Parcel record, as well as appear beautifully displayed on your personalized certificate and custom SkyPage webpage.
Lock It In
5. Complete your purchase. You will be directed to your SkyBox to see your Piece, download your certificate and enjoy all of your package perks. You will immediately receive an email with everything you will need as well. You can log in to your SkyBox anytime afterwards to see, update, and add more Piece of the Sky dedications. Congratulations, you did it! Your dedication will be instantly recorded in the International Atmospheric Zoning Bureau (IAZB) 3D Sky Cadaster — the global database of atmospheric dedications. Your SkyBox, certificate, and custom SkyPage will show the unique Sky Parcel Record ID which you can use to verify your Piece of the Sky on the IAZB website.
